Why we did this

Base layer thermal shirt. Can be used both as part of thermal underwear or as a standalone shirt. Ensures high heat retention even in extreme climatic conditions and functional moisture-wicking from the body for effective thermoregulation during intense physical activity. Fits well under uniform clothing and as a first layer in our layering system.

Features and benefits

  • Modern, anatomical cut - The shirt is made in a modern, athletic design. It fits tightly to the body without restricting movement, thanks to its elasticity. The cut itself is designed with human anatomy in mind, and the shoulder seam is offset for better comfort when wearing a backpack.
  • Flat seams - The shirt is produced using flat-seam technology, ensuring the garment does not chafe even during prolonged use.
  • Collar - The shirt has a straight collar that protects the neck from the unpleasant effects of cold and wind.
  • Thoughtful, reliable closure - Fastens with a nylon zipper that has a DWB fabric flap for additional protection against wind and moisture at the closure point.

 
Fabrics and materials
Polarheat Quadro Stretch Hex is an updated version of the Polarheat Quadro Stretch PRO fabric, designed for lightweight, functional, and high-tech activewear. The fabric retains the signature Polarheat appearance but features a new internal structure that makes it lighter and more efficient at managing excess moisture.

Inside, the fabric is equipped with a layer of Hex microfleece featuring a hexagonal honeycomb structure. Larger cells and wider gaps between them improve air circulation and moisture vapor transmission while maintaining effective thermal insulation.

Thanks to the optimized structure, the fabric’s density and weight have been reduced by 15%. This has improved the balance between lightness, heat retention, and breathability, making Polarheat Quadro Stretch Hex more comfortable during active movement.
